Hi all,

Last night was the last game for the Cavendish B team in Division 3 against a very strong Castle Hedingham B team. In terms of results, they just didn’t go Cavendish’s way after such a promising start against Haverhill. 

The A team although still having a fixture to play secured promotion last night by gaining the 2 points needed, and have a very strong shot difference which should be enough to secure the league winner’s position.

I would like to thank you all for your involvement in the games, regardless of results.
I would also like to thank Val, who took on the role of catering manager when we lost the use of the Bull, this was greatly appreciated by both home and away players.

There will soon be sheets going on the notice board for next season, please put your names down if you wish to be involved (in any of the leagues) next year.

I will be hoping to have a volunteer for the captaincy of the B team next year, I am happy to continue with the A team but I find it very time consuming with my involvement with my SBBL position to run both teams.

Please also remember Friday 25th August at 18:00, it’s a little late to call it a refresher game but more to show some of the differences between the leagues that Cavendish play in, it is hoped there will be some refreshments after the evening as well.
